Dear Valley View Post Acute staff! My mother-in-law, Ping Zhen Lin, stayed in room #19B of your facility for over three months (December 23, 2025 to April 4, 2026). During that time, your staff, including the facility’s top management, was a highly trained and excellent team. Having visited many nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities in Los Angeles County, I have never encountered staff as kind as yours who always care for residents with a smile and warmth. The staff are consistently patient and responsible, from the rehabilitation room staff to every nurse, medication delivery person, diaper changer, room cleaner, and kitchen staff. Everyone I met was dedicated, kind, and compassionate. All your staff are exceptionally patient and loving, every day… At lunchtime and in the afternoon, in the dining hall where a group of elderly people gather to eat, I often witnessed touching acts of kindness. For those who were unable to care for themselves, your staff frequently helped them eat one by one, personally feeding them. Sometimes, when those being cared for were uncooperative, your staff always smiled and patiently helped them finish their meals. My mother-in-law has limited mobility; for the past three months, she has been eating, drinking, and using the toilet in bed. Your staff have been extremely attentive and patient in serving her. Because my mother-in-law is 93 years old and cannot chew food, the kitchen prepares her food daily using a blender. Additionally, a white lady named Viola Carreon in the dining hall’s activity room knows that my mother-in-law wants coffee, and she brings it to her bedside every day. A tall, thin facility manager also frequently visits her room to check on her. In short, I have witnessed countless acts of kindness at your facility over these past few months. I want to give you a big thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍

My husband was admitted to Valley View Post-Acute Center after his total left hip replacement. The facility is very clean, and the staff are professional, kind, and attentive. Amber Castro and her team were amazing. They helped us with everything from admission to discharge and even assisted with handling the insurance. Their support made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My husband is very pleased with the care and services he received. We are very grateful to Amber Castro and the entire team for taking such good care of him.

The facility is clean and quite new relatively. The staffs are mostly friendly. Most CNA treat the residents as their family members ( with their heart). The environment is happy and healthy. The nurses are nice when dealing with issuing patients. The physical therapists are doing their job decently and timely. However the quality of the meal needs improvement. One of the factors to make residents strong is the residents’ meal. The residents need nutritious meal daily to become strong and healthy. I really like the happiness and friendly environment of this facility.

I must say, I have spent over a year staying in this facility as a resident. I have to say that the care and services offered here were very well met. The physical therapy staff here got me to walk again and the nursing staff ensured that my therapy was encouraged and safe. The activities director and her staff were always on top of things. All concerns were dealt with. The care here was unsurpassed. Thumbs up to the staff.

It’s never an easy decision to place a loved one in a care home, especially when daily visits aren’t possible due to life’s responsibilities. After doing my research, I can honestly say I’m beyond grateful to have found this place. The facility is spotless, warm, and welcoming, with a staff that is both friendly and attentive. The nurses provide such compassionate care, and the entire team is always responsive and supportive. I feel at peace knowing my loved one is in good hands, and I can go home each day with comfort and happiness in my heart.

Valley View Post Acute is in my opinion and my grandmothers favorite Skilled Nursing Home. I recommend this place to anyone who needs short term and long term care for their loved ones. My grandmother has been here 2 times and we still do not hesitate to bring her back. Staff is very polite, nursing care is great, physical therapy is amazing she was able to recover fast from her fall recovery, and she was able to regain her mobility. Medications are always given on time, food is prepared according to her diet needs. Director of Nursing is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, Administrator is very involved with patients and family members, constantly doing room walk-ins and making sure we have everything we need. We get greeted with care and they treat our loved ones with care, most importantly, and there has never been any problems with my grandmother. I highly recommend this place, if you need information call and ask for Carol from Marketing Dept. A+++

My dad was treated here for approximately 3 months. During his stay here he never complained about anything because this facility is fully staffed with the upmost caring, attentive, informative, and humble professionals who are extremely team/family oriented giving loved ones peace of mind. I want to thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart for your warm hearted care of your patients, going above and beyond your call of duty day after day after day. I highly recommend Valley View Post Acute to all families who may be struggling or simply need help with their loved ones. ❤️ 🫂 Thank you all again for helping my father recover and keeping the light at the end of the tunnel brightly lit for EVERYONE~~~🙏 GOD BLESS!

Disappointing Experience – Serious Staff Training Issues I would not recommend Valley View Post Acute based on my experience with their staff and leadership. The level of care is severely lacking, and much of it seems to stem from poor training and oversight. The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible for ensuring that nurses and aides are properly trained, yet it’s clear that many staff members lack the necessary skills and professionalism to provide quality care. My family had some Serious Concerns About Staff Training and Patient Care. We brought our mom here and we had a deeply disappointing experience at Valley View Post Acute. The level of care was far below what we expected, and it was clear that the staff were either poorly trained or simply not held to high standards. The Director of Staff Development (DSD) is responsible for ensuring that staff are properly trained, yet we encountered repeated issues—neglect, slow response times, very bad communication skills, and a general lack of compassion from caregivers. Basic needs were often ignored or delayed, and it was heartbreaking to see my loved one not receive the attention and care they deserved. When concerns were brought up, there was little accountability, and nothing seemed to change. The DSD should be ensuring that all staff are competent and compassionate, but based on our experience, that is clearly not happening. I strongly urge management to reevaluate their leadership, particularly in staff development, because the quality of care here is unacceptable. Families trust this facility to care for their loved ones, and right now, that trust is being broken. I have personally witnessed neglect, slow response times, and staff who seem unprepared to handle even basic patient needs. If the DSD were doing their job correctly, these issues wouldn’t be so widespread. Patients and there familys deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, but under the current leadership, that is not happening. However there were some very kind nurses, and my family and I thank them so much. But the management was terrible. I urge management to take a hard look at the DSD’s performance and make necessary changes to ensure that staff are properly trained and held accountable. Until then, I would not trust this facility with my loved ones.

My god father was placed here and I had my reservations because of the stigma behind nursing homes. However, Valley View proved every negative nursing home reputation wrong – Uncle Dave got everything he needed from rehab to walks to good diet alternatives. Uncle Dave is now back at home stronger and happier than ever. Can’t recommend Valley View enough.
